Challenge
- Stamping and injection molding equipment scattered across multiple workshops — anomaly handling relied on walkie-talkies
- Minor equipment issues often ignored, accumulating into major line-stopping incidents
- Night shift equipment had zero patrol inspection — anomaly discovery was purely luck
- Owner could not monitor workshop status in real time when traveling
Solution
We installed G-100 industrial IoT gateways on stamping presses and injection molding machines, capturing real-time equipment data and uploading via MQTT to the cloud. Anomalies are automatically pushed to the workshop Andon display and responsible personnel's WeCom.
- Equipment anomalies detected in seconds, auto-pushed to Andon boards and mobile phones
- Mobile (WeCom/WeChat Mini Program) alerts — owner stays informed even while traveling
- Closed-loop anomaly management: who accepted, how long to resolve, verified and closed — fully traceable
